A test

Well, it seems that I'm going to have a test this weekend. I have duty with the National Guard and I just found out that me and 30 of my closest friends will have a physical. A complete physical.
Hmm. I wonder how this is going to play out? Will I pass the turn your head and cough test? I hope like heck they don't make me take off my shirt in front of the other male soldiers, or, when they do the ECG what are they going to think when hooking up the leads?
Ommigosh.
I know; I should have thought of this before. I did think of this. I thought that I wouldn't have another physical until I got closer to retirement, in about 2.5 years. You know; at the point when it doesn't really matter what the medics think and I can try to BS my way through an exam.
This put a different spin on things.
I have a couple of options, I reckon.
I could:

  1. Claim ignorance
  2. Acknowledge that there is some "discrepancy", my wife doesn't seem to mind...(she does, but she won't tell them that).
  3. Acknowledge that, yes, my equipment looks like hers, not his, but not to worry, just sign the form.
  4. Say that my civilian doctor is aware of the gynomastica, but that with my age, I shouldn't be concerned.
  5. Suddenly become sick.
  6. Go AWOL
  7. ?
Suggestions are welcome. Remember, Don't Ask, Don't Tell and the repeal of that rule does not apply to those who are Transsexual or Transgender. You get the boot, and quick. I am prepared mentally, but if it happens now, it wouldn't be within my time frame. I still need some time.
Take care..
