When I married my wife, I also married a woman who had 3 children from a previous marriage. They are wonderful children and my life has been blessed beyond measure by being allowed to be a part of their lives.
Later, my wife and I had another child together. Another immeasurable blessing.
A couple of years after his birth, I bought a book, similar to this ,that allows me to fill out the answers to questions about my life. The intent is to have a written account of me that I can give him and he can have, possibly cherish, forever.
Wonderful idea, but the hardest task to complete. I've been working on finishing this book for the past 10 years. When I get to a question that I cannot truthfully answer, I freeze. My thought the other night is to be honest in it and explain my transgender feelings through the questions that I've been evading.
My son doesn't like to read, so I think that what I write in this book/journal will probably be safe from prying eyes for some time or at least I give it to him.
