A look back and a look forward. The condensed version...

Yes, it's a look back and a look forward.
I hope everybody is doing ok. I am doing very well. My life since going full time in October has been nothing short of incredible. Seriously. I couldn't have asked for better support. I've been shown so much love. I really didn't believe it possible that life could have been so good.
Transition sucks, but it seems that my life has been building to this point and everything is more or less falling into place. I know that's the simplified version, but really it seems that life just gets better and better.
I'm still estranged from my wife and children. The divorce papers are signed but the paperwork is not finalized yet. I pray that someday they can love the real me.
My siblings their children are wonderful and love  me unreservedly and I love them.
I have true friends now. Ones that love me for who I am. It is like a breath of fresh air.
I have said many times since October 1st when I went "full time" that I'm living the dream. I get people every week that ask me how it's going. I tell them that Its not often that people get to live a dream.
I am still working on the electrolysis bit. Although the girls at Electrolysis 3000 are wonderful, I am not fond of the needles. Thank God for those needles.

I look forward to a wonderful 2013. Oh, and by the way, I have wonderful news that I'm going to share with y'all on March 1st, 2013. I'm not pregnant, it's not the military and it's not my divorce or marriage. Something much better. Stay tuned.
I love you all and thanks for the support.
Caroline

  2. You lost so much on this journey... I am just so glad that you have come through and not just survived by thrived. Who wouldn't want to read of that journey.

As for the holiday - lovely thanks. Just watched the sun go down on a clear African sky. Now need to run for a mosquito net!

I hope the next steps on my journey are as joyous as yours.. Becca

  3. I hop that you continue to do well and are happy. There are those of us who have yet to make the leap, when marriages feel shaky look to lives such as yours and know that there is the possibility of a happy future
